About Us
Our Baking Story
My passion for baking began in my grandmother's kitchen when I was a child. After retiring from my 25-year career as an educator in 2018, I founded my own bakery ~ Fort Mill Bakery ~ with the innocent dream of our daughter, who met "The Cake Boss" at age 10. All of our kids are now in their 20's and being wonderful "mini adults" working

But it was my daughter's "dream" which furthered my passion for baking delicious baked goods.
Most of our recipes have been passed down through generations and many of the recipes were shared with me by my grandmothers, who not only taught me what I know about baking, but the love put in it that brings others together. At Fort Mill Bakery, we keep innovating and creating new flavors and designs in every order. I am thankful that we continue to grow in every way each year, we are blessed to do so, by your continued support. ~ Thank you.

Fort Mill Bakery is one that is built on integrity and love of the craft... nothing more and never anything less. When we say "made to order" that is what we mean and never any preservatives are used! We'll continue doing things the right way. If we can't do it right, then we won't do it at all. That was my father's philosophy for life, and it's a good one that I follow in all of my business practices.
We proudly display our Grade A rating & Food Manager’s Certificate. It's proof that we follow the SC Department of Agriculture’s food safety protocols when we create our desserts.

Please note that we require a minimum of (9) nine months' notice for any wedding event to be planned with us. Otherwise you may incur a "rush fee" for your event, if we're not already booked for your requested date. We've gotten pretty popular with our event catering over the years.

FMB is working on our Seasonal Spring Menu
We like snow, but like everyone we are ready for what the spring season offers. We're settled in our new kitchen space now and all orders can be picked up in Rock Hill or still at our Fort Mill location. We'll base the pickup on your location.
As with all orders, Please arrive on time to at your scheduled pickup to receive your order. We appreciate your understanding and respecting our valued time. If you need to reschedule your assigned time, please don't hesitate to contact us upon receipt of your invoice.
